Feel a draft coming from your light switches? Sealing gaskets offer a quick and easy way to insulate your exterior wall switches, eliminating drafts and helping you save money and energy. Made of fire-retardant plastic foam, these gaskets fit behind your existing, standard-size light switch covers and can also be trimmed to fit.
1. Installation is easy. Before getting started, turn off the power to the switch you plan to insulate with the gasket. Using a screwdriver, carefully remove the switch cover and set aside.
2. Remove the switch gasket from the packaging and place over the light switches. If the sealing gasket is larger than the light switch area, remove it and trim the gasket using scissors. When ready, place the outlet cover over the gasket and secure it with the screw.
